Anamorphosis

This series is both an exploration of the imagination of our childhood - made of tales, scary stories we tell, and nightmares when alone, plunged into the dark, the cabinets creak, the branches rustle, and trees seem to dissimulate a strange and fantastic world - and an adult glance at the nature, the origin of the world and the time that vanishes little by little.

This series is made from photographies of tree trunks that inhabit the forests of the Vercors (France), the antic ruines of Efes, Termessos and Meryemana (Turkey), the abandoned village of Kayakoy (Turkey), some medieval vestiges in Scotland, the seaside of (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), as well as the streets and nights of Bangkok (Thailand), Hong Kong (China), Java and Bali (Indonesia).
